March Update – OUR MOST LOVED PROJECTS!

YONEX
March always kicks off with a bang as we dive into one of our most beloved projects – the YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships! This year was no exception, as we took on the challenge of building and breaking down the courts at Utilita Arena Birmingham. Our team expertly installed the training, competition, and warm-up courts while also fitting carpet and badminton mats in the training area. We laid down around 3,000 square meters of Junckers flooring just for this prestigious event!

March was also the start of the Netball Super League, with floor installations for Manchester Thunder, Nottingham Forest Netball, London Mavericks Netball , Birmingham Panthers , LexisNexis Cardiff Dragons, NIC Leeds Rhinos.
We have become England Netball and the Netball Super League’s Event Flooring Installation Partner – the partnership will see Neon Arena Services provide court installations for all England Netball home internationals, NSL major events and select NSL regular season fixtures for the next three years.
NETBALL SUPER CUP
Another month’s highlight was the Netball Super Cup, which took place at Utilita Arena Sheffield. As always, we had the pleasure of installing both the warm-up and competition courts, along with the all-important Super Shot line markings. To complete the setup, we also fitted perimeter carpet around the competition court. This event was an electrifying showcase of talent, with all clubs competing just ahead of the Netball Super League season.
As the official Event Flooring Installation Supplier for England Netball, our work didn’t stop there. March saw us installing competition courts for arena fixtures featuring Manchester Thunder, Birmingham Panthers, Nottingham Forest, and London Mavericks. Each match delivered incredible displays of skill and determination, and we were thrilled to be a part of it all.

BASKETBALL SUPER LEAGUE
A particularly exciting addition to our March calendar was the Basketball Super League event at Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham. This was a brand-new event for us, and we couldn’t have been happier to be part of it! Our team successfully installed the competition flooring and carpet, helping to create the perfect stage for some high-energy basketball action.
Still on the sports flooring front, we also had the opportunity to work on the Mark Bates Senior Championship held at Nottingham’s David Ross Sports Village. This annual table tennis event is always a pleasure, giving us a chance to reconnect with the fantastic team at Table Tennis England while ensuring top-quality playing conditions for the athletes.
ARENA WORK
Beyond sports, our arena work kept us on our toes with an array of high-profile events. From the sensational performances of Sabrina Carpenter and Teddy Swims to the excitement of Crufts, Limp Bizkit, Cheerleading competitions, and the adrenaline-packed Rocket League tournament, our team worked tirelessly on seating and staging setups for each event. The quick turnarounds made for an exciting and fast-paced month!

To round things off, we had the opportunity to collaborate once again with the brilliant team at MEMS for Digital Health Rewired at the NEC Halls. It’s always a pleasure working on such impactful industry events.
March was certainly a month to remember, and we’re looking forward to what’s coming next! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue delivering top-tier installations across sports, live music, and exhibitions.
